With the all-new 2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport joining the lineup, the trim roster for this Honda SUV now numbers seven. The entry-level trims pair a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the midrange and high-end trims upsize to a 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain capable of 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque. This system matches with a special electronic CVT (e-CVT).
Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, and Real Time AWD™ (all-wheel drive) is optional for most trims – the exceptions being the 2026 Honda CR-V TrailSport and range-topping 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid, which get AWD standard. Also notable are the special drive modes that are equipped on every trim. The non-hybrid trims come with three drive modes, and the hybrid models offer four. The 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid features five drive modes for ultimate personalization.
