Warranty Details

Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicles have multiple warranties, but two are especially important. The first is the powertrain coverage, a limited warranty lasting up to seven years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first). Components and systems included here are your engine, transmission, transfer case, and front-wheel and rear-wheel drive systems.

The second is non-powertrain coverage, which is divided into two possibilities. If the Certified Pre-Owned model you’ve chosen is still covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW), you’ll be covered for two years or 100,000 miles after the NVLW expires. If the NVLW on your model has expired, you’ll still get two years or 100,000 miles worth of non-powertrain warranty—the clock (or odometer!) starts at your date of purchase.

Non-powertrain warranties include coverage on several systems, including:

  • Fuel system
  • Suspension
  • Steering
  • Brakes
  • Electrical system
